Timesheet is built by Christian Frandsen. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

What data is stored on your device

All time entries, projects, workplaces, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device except as described below.

What data is sent to the developer

Timesheet optionally syncs anonymous usage statistics to a private Firebase database to help the developer understand how the app is used. This sync happens automatically in the background and includes:

• Total number of entries and hours tracked (all-time and monthly)
• Number of days worked per month
• An anonymous identifier (randomly generated — not linked to your name, Apple ID, or email)
• Your device model (e.g. "iPhone" — not your device name)
• The date and time of the last sync

This data is not linked to your identity, is not sold or shared with any third party, and is used only to understand general usage patterns (e.g. how many hours users track per month).

What data is NOT collected

• Your name, email address, or Apple ID
• Your device name or any personally identifiable device information
• The content of your notes or entry descriptions
• Your location
• Any data from other apps

Third-party services

Timesheet uses Google Firebase to store anonymous usage statistics. Firebase's own privacy policy applies to data stored on their servers.

Data retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete the app. Anonymous statistics stored in Firebase are retained indefinitely but can be deleted on request.

Children's privacy

Timesheet does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.

Your rights

Because the anonymous statistics are not linked to your identity, it is not possible to look up or delete a specific user's data without knowing their anonymous Firebase UID. If you would like your data removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
